Let's celebrate individuality at the largest summer music & art festival in California!

The Free to Be Festival is a one-day outdoor music and art festival, designed with the purpose of inspiring individuals of all backgrounds to come together and embrace the differences that make us unique. We want to inspire all who attend to create positive change toward greater equality and to inspire others to do the same. Be proud of the unique existence that you occupy - Free to be you! 

Enjoy ten hours of live music, great food and drinks in our three villages, live art, and over 250 unique vendors.

Showcasing music and art from some of today's most influential bands and artists, Freedom Festival 2011 is a celebration of humanity. Everyone is invited to come as you are and be proud of the unique existence that you occupy. Gay, straight, fierce, pierced, conservative or unconventional - you are Free to Be!

Through Freedom Festival we hope to inspire others to change the world - to scale and tear down society's high-wall constructs that define who we're "supposed" to be. Who made the rules? Who cares? Let’s bend them 'till they break.
