Stonewall, Plus 40

This past Sunday marked the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, often identified as the beginning of the modern gay rights movement. To gain some perspective on how the lives of gay people have changed since that time, The Local interviewed two longtime Clinton Hill residents about their own experiences. In the video above, Barbara Abrams, 64, and Bob McCoy, 77, reflect on Stonewall as a milestone and share their thoughts on where gay people stand today.
